Amy Smendik is part of a team at Mercy Health Home Infusion. She oversees dispensing and administration of IV therapies including hydration, parenteral nutrition,  antibiotics, and monoclonal antibodies. She graduated in 1986 from Ferris State University Hagerman College of Pharmacy and more recently, 2020 with her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy.

Amy has been blessed with opportunities to serve the Michigan Pharmacist Association. As a newly graduated pharmacist, she was active with Calhoun County Pharmacist Association, giving her the opportunity to participate in the House of Delegates. There, she developed as a leader of the local association, achieving Vice Speaker of the House of Delegates and Chairperson of the Local Association Development Committee.  In February of 1993, she was elected Speaker of the House of Delegates. She has served on several executive boards including the Michigan Pharmacist Association, General Federation of Women’s Club, Gun Lake, Gun Lake Toastmasters.  Amy is currently serving as a Trustee of the Michigan Pharmacy Foundation and is a member of the Michigan Pharmacy PAC

Amy was born and raised in Western Michigan. Amy’s husband is a board-certified family physician in Middleville, and they have raised 3 young men. She enjoys baking, travel, and music. Amy continues engaging patients in their own care every. She can be reached on linked in:
